High Voltage 100kV Pulse Generator - cheap and quick. DO NOT TRY THIS UNLESS YOU UNDERSTAND THE RISKS AND KNOW HOW TO AVOID THEM! This build uses an off-the-shelf cheap mains-powered strobe light to drive a 4-cyl dual ignition coil, to produce 100,000 volts output. This output exceeds the insulating capabilities of the coil unless additional heat-shrink tube (preferably the glued type) is applied. Several inches of air clearances will be required. Take care! I have deliberately avoided showing the exact point of cut on the circuit board as it will vary from one board to another, and you should already have the skill to work this out if you are attempting this project.
