NBA 2K18: 10 Players whose Positions you should change to increase Player Ratings in NBA 2K18. NBA 2K18 is out and we have a look at ten players whose positions should be changed to increase their player ratings. Player ratings in NBA 2K18 are a representation of how well a player is suited to play the position he is assigned to: A player with high rebounding and inside scoring skills will be well-suited for the Center position, but if he is switched to a Point Guard, his rating might take a hit.
Each year there are several players whose assigned positions are not the ones best suited for them. Changing their positions to better suited ones will increase their player ratings and often times also have an effect on their teams’ rotation.
We do not only take into account how these players’ ratings change, but also how that affects the teams they play for: If the rotation is hurt by changing a player to become the fifth Small Forward on the team, the position switch is likely not to be recommended.
In this video I will show you ten players whose overall ratings will increase if their positions are changed in NBA 2K18.

This NBA 2K18 video aims to be a somewhat realistic guide to player ratings in NBA 2K18 and what you can do to increase them without changing any of the players’ attributes. Not all players whose positions are changed in this video play that position in the real-life NBA and some might only be suited to play their new position in NBA 2K18. As always with NBA 2K18, player ratings are subject to change any day with new roster updates from 2K. Still, the majority of the positions switches shown in this video should still have a positive impact on the players and their teams, even though the rating increases might not be as high.
