Chicken Wonton Soup | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana. A simple, light Indo- Chinese dumpling classic soup that is easy and delicious in taste. Here is a simple way of making a good wonton soup.
CHICKEN WONTON SOUP - (Serves - 4)
200 grams chicken mince
8 wonton sheets
4-5 cups chicken stock
Black pepper powder to taste
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
½ teaspoon chicken stock cube powder
½ tablespoon fresh garlic paste
1 teaspoon soy sauce
½ tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon chopped spring onion greens
1 inch celery, cut into pieces
8-10 fresh spinach leaves
1. Mix together chicken mince, pepper powder, salt, coriander leaves, chicken stock cube powder, garlic paste, soy sauce, oyster sauce and spring onion greens in a bowl.
2. Apply some water onto wonton sheets, place a portion of chicken mixture in the centre and shape into wontons.
3. Heat a deep non-stick pan. Add stock, celery and salt and simmer. Add prepared wontons and stir lightly.
4. Add spinach leaves, mix well and simmer till the wontons are cooked and the leaves wilt.
5. Serve hot.
